During 11 years employed by major international publishing houses, I collaborated closely with prestigious bodies such as the International Bar Association, Bank for International Settlements, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, World Bank and European Union, as well as the international judiciary, magic circle law firms and some of the most influential thinkers and academics of the day.
In 2000, I established my own editorial business and continue to work internationally with clients. With a lifelong love of the written word, I’m deeply committed to nurturing good writing, helping authors to achieve successful publication, and making your work the very best it can be.
I hold a BA (Hons) degree in English and European Literature from the University of Essex. I have received solid training both in-house and at courses by accredited industry providers (Publishing Training Centre, SfEP, Arvon), and am committed to up-to-date, continuous professional development.
As an Advanced Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), the UK’s industry professional society, I adhere to its Code of Practice, which ensures the highest standards of editorial excellence.
As an exhibited photographer I engage with the visual arts; my own work is held in private collections.
